RelChip was first formed as a research and development group under IntelliServ in 2003 (later purchased by National Oilwell Varco NOV). In 2012, Relchip spun out to provide “Ruggedized-Extreme COTS micro-electronics” that can withstand the harshest of environments, -55C to 300C degrees; the highest rated in the world, verified by SANDIA Labs. With over 13 years of R&D in this field and industry, we were challenged to develop integrated circuit technology that operates at 300 degrees Centigrade (572 degrees Fahrenheit) as a fabless semiconductor effort.
